Description
The Junior League is a fantastic way for the juniors at Beacon Hall to build and maintain comradery amongst one other while being introduced to semi-competitive play. The league consists of 9 holes each week alongside PGA of Canada Junior instructor Mike Lorenz. The league focuses its attention on teaching junior’s proper etiquette, rules of golf and how to play varying golf formats with the Golf Canada handicap system. Each Thursday at 5pm, juniors meet on the first tee in a drop in format and play 9 holes with rotating styles of team and individual competition in a relaxed and fun setting. Prizes will be awarded weekly and a yearlong leaderboard based on participation and play will be tracked.

Description
The Introductory Junior clinic series is comprised of 6 sessions, each running on Tuesday nights from 5:30-6:30. This program is geared toward beginner juniors at a younger age although is inclusive to anyone wishing to participate. Participants will learn from the basics of the golf swing, around the green and putting in a fun positive learning environment with lots of games and prizes along the way. This is the perfect program to get your junior excited for a lifetime of leisure or competitive golf!

This program features a six week structured lesson plan focusing on continuing and building on preexisting golf abilities. Participants will explore deeper into full swing techniques, short game, and on course strategy. Participants will also be coached on practice techniques both on and off the course that will aid in self-directed learning and skill building to help golfers take a big step forward from leisure to competitive golf.

Description
Synonymous to the American ‘Drive Chip and Putt’, this Canadian version has juniors participate in the same three categories. Participants are presented with a scorecard and will give their best attempts at Driving, Chipping and Putting. After completing their rounds, they can submit their scores online and compare with leaderboards that stretch across Canada! The top three juniors for each age category in each geographical region will get a chance to participate in the National Skills Competition on July 3rd in Brooklyn Ontario.

Description
These two tournaments are the highlights of the junior season. They are the best way to promote fun and comradery in golf in a lightly competitive setting. Juniors above 12 years old will be paired up in teams and play in a scramble format. This format encourages a relaxed, stress free environment in which Juniors can truly enjoy the benefits and joy of tournament golf. Juniors under 12 will play alongside their parents on a team with another Parent-Junior pairing. This event is loaded with prizes and mini competitions throughout the day. Everybody is a winner!

This Half day golf camp is the cornerstone of the junior program. This is the perfect place for your junior golfer to spend one, or multiple weeks in the summer. Each week will consist of ‘A Class’ PGA of Canada Instructor working to build and develop the next generation of golfers. Always with an underlying tone of etiquette and respect for the game, the junior camp is a fun, positive environment, filled with games and prizes throughout the week. Participants will cover every aspect of the game including someone course fun and instruction at the end of the week. Registration will be limited to 8 participants maximum, to ensure a low, instructor-student ratio and efficient use of our world class practice facilities
